About Us

The Pregnancy Care Center is a Christ-centered ministry offering life-affirming services designed to empower women and men in making informed choices about unexpected pregnancy, sexual integrity and recovery from post abortion trauma. We believe in sharing the love of Jesus Christ through education, peer-mentoring and support to women and men facing an unexpected pregnancy.

Our vision is to help create a world where no child is aborted but given the right to life 

and embraced by a loving family.

 At the center, women receive support from the moment a new life is confirmed all the way through the pregnancy journey, and continuing until the baby is one-year-old.  A young woman establishes a trusting relationship with her peer mentor, someone that’s there to listen, love and support her and her baby.   Whether it’s one appointment or nineteen months of visits, the expectant mother and peer mentor exchange is a testimony of love in action.

Over the past 39 years, the Pregnancy Care Center has had more than 60,000 client visits 

and have welcomed more than 5,200 babies.

As a non-profit, 501 (C)3 organization, the Pregnancy Care Center is an integral part of the local community service network, assisting with both emergency and on-going needs in three locations Haverhill, Lowell and Lawrence, MA.  All services are free, confidential and available to individuals regardless of age, race, income, nationality, religious affiliation or disability.
